[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Quick sanding assistance please.

I am about to go out in the garage and start sanding a laminate stock.

I have a small palm sander, black and decker I think. Would I be advised to start with this and then move to hand sanding? Or avoid the sander and do it all by hand?

I would do it by hand. The Palm sander is fast, but I think it will remove to much material, too quickly. Your not refinishing a floor so, take your time.
