[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Duracoat AR upper/Lower prep question

I have a stripped upper and lower receiver and was wondering if I can duracoat the

take down pin holes and trigger/hammer pin holes, as well as the barrel/stock threads

or do I need to plug/mask them. Is there enough tolerence between the pins and the

holes for duracoat

If you apply the paint as thin as it should be applied, yes. remember, you're not painting a house. Many thin coats makes for a gorgeous gun, and no runs... remember, this stuff goes on about the thickness of a hair.
