Has anyone ever seen a Hensoldt Magnifier that has been repainted. I was thinking about painting mine in Alumahyde 2 Coyote. What kind of prep should I do before painting it?
If it is anodized aluminum, you could probably just scuff it up with a green scotch brite pad, degrease, and go at it. Looks like a rubber eyepiece....if that is true, you will have a hard time with paint sticking to it.
