A couple questions here.  If I wanted to parkerize the slide of my glock would I suspend the slide in the parkerizing tank or is it ok to sit it on the bottom?

Next question would be if I prepped the outside of the slide by blasting it and left the inside alone, would the parkerize solution adhere to the inside that is not blasted?
I want to parkerize the slide then duracoat it but I dont want to do the inside.
Thanks

you would be better off susupending it. If you just lay it on the bottom, whatever is touching the bottom wont get parkerized very good if at all.

The more surface area you have (rougher) the better parkerizing works.  So, if you dont blast the iniside of the slide and it is smooth, it will parkerize a little but not much.  If you dont blast it, you should be fine, if it does parkerize a little, you're still good to go anyway.
