When guys talk about home camo jobs with rattle-cans, they usually used Krylon and not Rustoleum. Why?
Is there any differance in performance?
Can they be mixed and matched?
What Gives?
Help a new guy out!

Personally, I use the term Krylon to refer to all spray paint...kind of like a Xerox machine or Kleenex, etc.

I like krylon because it is pretty cheap, easy to use and I have used both before and I like krylon more than rustoleum because it has a much more flat look when rustoleum has a shiny look

I prefer Krylon Camo Flats over Any Rustoleum Camo colors.......Krylon is dead flat while Rustoleum is at best a Satin and still plenty glossy.

Either case, get name brand.  The generic stuff, though only 1/2 the price, is only 1/2 as good in durability and fnish.

I dunno about Krylon, but the Rustoleum that I finished a barrel with turns tacky when the barrel heats up.
