I'm as big pansy. Having used Krylon and baking laquer in the past i decided to stick with what i know.
Used brownells baking laquer, matte black, to refinish this colt M16 stripped upper. It turned out pretty good.

Nice painting and nice retro piece.
I had a mismatched color upper and lower on my first homebuilt AR for ten years. After hanging out here, (arfcom) I ended up using the Norrels backing ;aquer to color match.
