I have an ACOG that I want to Duracoat. Does anyone have any techniques I can use to protect the glass when painting? Thanks in advance.

I've used blue painter's tape with good success.

Try a cork or plug. Or use a thin piece of cardboard 9l;ike fron the back of a paper tablet and some tape.

Thanks for the input. A quick follow up question: do you put the tape directly on the glass?

No. Press it onto the rear/fron edge of the eyepice of ocular opening, keeping it tight so that it doesn't touch the glass. Then go around and cut off the excess with a pair of scissors.
