Hello All,
Does anyone have an easy method for tiger striping?  I was thinking about refinishing one of my stocks with tiger stripes, using the current ACU colors and was hoping for an easy "how to".  Thanks.

if you want clean crisp lines, you can try using masking tape just striped accross the gun.  Place the tape on a piece of glass (window pane works good) and cut a random gentle wavy line down the center for more of an organic look.  For a more "fuzzy" line you can use low tack hot glue gun to "draw" on your gun as a mask.  Do the masking and spraying in multiple layers removing some of the masks while leaving others in place between coats to add depth.  Replicating a specific pattern is difficult to do, and pactience is key.

You may want to check out www.bulldogarms.com.

He has templates for a bunch of different patterns, and he sells them MUCH cheaper than the Duracoat stencils.  He also has pictures to walk you through the different stages of application.

Actually, this is the kind of look I had in mind, except with three colors (the tigerstriping on Strider knives).  I wanted a camouflage pattern that blended with itself, not with distinct color transitions.

Your picture doesn't work. If you want edges to blend, hold your mask a little way off the surface.
