Orion Nebula Trapezium
This is the Trapezium at the heart of the Orion Nebula. I used a Night Vision Depot Micro with a C-mount to 1.25" adapter, a Celestron 2X barlow, and a 35nm Ha filter coupled to a Canon 7D MKII and a Canon 60mm macro lens. The telescope and mount were a Vixen 102EDSS f6.5 refractor on an undriven Vixen GP mount. I'm still experimenting with NV astronomy and it's nice to have any success at all! |
