Thought I would give an anvis setup a try with my Sentinel binoculars.

I picked up an Adams Industry SAM Mount off the ee but still need a battery pack. I've been eyeing the Adams Industry GWBP's as well as the standard low profile battery packs. I like the option to run AA as well as 123's and the ruggedness of the AI packs.

Are there any other anvis battery packs I should be looking at? My google-fu is usually pretty strong but I'm not finding any other options other then the old issue, box style ones. Also, I'm assuming that the battery packs have standard connections and voltage output?

Any help would be appreciated.

Here's a picture of the AI-GWBP I'm looking at:

That's about it... you can also look at the low profile pack they have that is a tad smaller but you lose the CR123 capability.

There is the Wilcox Simple Battery Pack, but you are limited to cr123.

Great, thanks for the info guys.  I'm just surprised that there are so few choices. AI GWBP it is then.

The GWBP is the way to go.  The only other option is an actual ANVIS battery box.  they are pieces of shit when it comes to durability.  The GWBP is super solid.

They are pieces of shit. But when you co-locate with an aviation unit and the supply guy will give you the ones missing the battery trays, you use em!

Thanks Vic. I'm retired now, so no more supply chain to take care of me. Glad to hear the endorcement of the AI GWBP. Buy once, cry once right.

I use an AGWBP as well. I like that it works with both AA and CR123's, and it's water proof. The AGWBP is also super rugged.  But the big bummer with it is if you plan to fly with this battery pack it's not certified for flight use.
