| Anyone bought anything from them lately. Just curious. Because the last time I did it took weeks to get my order on a thermal unit. I want to buy a Armasight 640 30hz thermal and with my military discount it comes to 4800.00 but like I said 4 to 5 weeks and I'm leaving town on the 25th of June. So anyone bought a thermal lately from them |
Thanks, yeah I'll give them a call Tues and make it clear I have to have it before the 25th if it's not here before I leave i will call and as much as I hate to I will cancel the order. They have great prices but the last time I ordered the delivery time was horrible. Their svc seemed good though so no complaints there if you had a problem. I jhave thirty days to return item. Was it thirty days from time they charged you or time you recieved it. Because my card was charged three weeks before I got the last thermal unit at my home. When I asked about it they said they had to pay Armasight because it was being dropped shipped from them. So if I went by charge/pay date that left me with just a week to return if I had a problem. So I don't know 
Long story short I was pretty aggravated by the time it arrived. It got it with just a few days to spare before I left last time. Took five weeks. I called the fourth week and told them if it was not here before I left they could keep it. Some how it arrived 4bdays later.  it showed in stock and stated would ship in a few days is what gets me. You pay thousands of dollars for these things and can't get a straight answer on shipping. Are there any sponsors on the forum that will match Optic Planets prices for clip ons if so let me know and I'll buy from you

With that said our Customer Service is some of the best out there and we educate first, NOT just "sell". Yea we know folks come to us to get the education and them sometimes go to the Wall Mart shops to buy their NV to say a few bucks. So you may have to ask yourself, with all the headaches you've endured do you think it would have been worth it to call us to begin with? While we may not carry the "cheaper foreign gear" at least you would receive the best advice and education for your hard earned dollar. We now have a finance and lay-away program so some can get into more of the true US Made Mil-Spec gear. If you want to drop me a PM or call, give us a shout. It won't cost you anything except a few minutes of your time even though you may not purchase from us, we never pressure anyone in that regard. When I started TNVC, it was not about the almighty dollar but education first and that philosophy is still alive and well with all our staff here at TNVC. 
P.S. I see your in Florida, we have a build facility out there and if you're not too far away, give us a shout to set up an appointment to see some gear one evening.

Also, as for matching. See if anyone can match our current OTAL IR or Vis price for $399.00? If you need a IR laser we got ya covered at least on this. It's still a machine aluminum housing and still one of the most robust units out there that holds zero with zero concern for impact issues.
