This is the pistol version, is anyone using one on a rifle? I've got a 10.5" upper w/VITAL-2 as my LAM with a gigantic Surefire 600 series with incandescent head and IR filter hanging off of it for white light/IR Illum in conjunction with NOD.
I REALLY want to reduce that size/weight footprint if possible (and reasonable, $ wise). If the Inforce WMLs were not prone to breaking they would be my first choice.... This led me to the APL-IR. It would ride on the rails at 3 O'Clock. Any using the APL-IR on their rifle for this purpose?

Did they replace it hassle free? Unfortunately it happened on a Saturday, on Monday had to leave for work ( I work for the Navy away from the state I live in.) I will look into it when I get home. |
