[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Pulsar Apex QD mount question

So on the bottom of the apex the factory mount is held on by looks like 3 screws with an optional 4th. Does anyone know if there is a replacement like a larue, bobro or ADM that I can change it out for? Wanting a QD mount. I know larue makes an LT-101 riser that would work with the factory mount attached to it but I would like to replace the factory mount if possible so as to the keep the scope lower on the rifle. The factory mount has a grove and spacing that almost looks like the type that goes on the bottom of an acog? Anybody know? Thanks!

I have the D-lock one from UNV. I put it on and took it off for five rounds. The group did not open up. Ymmv

Is it the d-loc acog mount or the thor mount? Thanks!

Also, did you have to use the PNVM adapter or did it sit right onto the mount? Sorry for all the questions but just trying to get the right thing to start with.

It's a machined aluminum adapter that bolts to the bottom of the apex. Then the acog style D-lock bolts to the adapter. I assume you could use any acog style mount . I got the D-lock.
