Hello all,

Hopefully by the end of this summer between college semesters, I'll be looking at picking up a pair of NGI Sentinels in the Gen 2+ configuration.  How far behind are they compared to gen 3 omni VII/VIII units?  How do they hold up in mixed lighting scenarios?  I was mainly going to be using them for stargazing, with some occasional hiking, and shooting.  Mechanical engineering student, not some high-speed door kicker.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Ben

I just picked up their NGI PVS 14 gen2 plus (Photonis). I've only had it for a couple of days, but haven't gotten much time to get into it. I plan on it this weekend. I will also be comparing it side by side with a Armasight pvs 14 gen2 HD(also Photonis tube), and an Armasight Gen3A pvs 14 (ITT Exelis tube). I'm going to get some pictures up as well. Hopefully it'll be able to give you an idea. So far from what I've seen from mine I assure you, you will not be disappointed.
