So I need to point a DBAL in front of a t1.  The t1 is mounted at absolute co-whitness.  Will I be able to see over the DBAL?  If not what are solutions other than getting a taller mount?

Thanks!

It's pretty tall. It worked well with my lower 1/3 mount, but I don't think absolute would work so great.

If a taller mount is out of the question, perhaps look at mounting the DBAL on the side.

Side mount is a alternate solution.

I run an ACOG behind mine with no issues.

This. D2 is pretty tall.

That's a D2 in front of a MRO on a lower 1/3 cowitness mount.

Well dang.  The reason I dont want to go with taller mounts is because I have 4 rifles with LT 107s =(.  Ill probably just have to side mount it on the left as far forward as possible unless there are some innovative mounting solutions.

Depending on the rail, you might be able to remove the QD mount and direct mount the DBAL.

Will the Unity Tactical Hub work for the D2?

If you really want to top mount it, I'd consider identifying the go-to rifle it'd spend the majority of it's time mounted and zeroed to, and getting a tall mount.

If part or none the above is possible, practical, or desirable, and you will be side mounting your device, I'd give the CQBL-1 a long look. It's a more streamlined package that would side mount better, and keeps the lasers closer to centerline.

Thanks for that.  I am going to call TNVC and get their opinion.  I am also going to look at other options besides the DBAL

Oh, well then.  Is losing the lower third of the optic tactically acceptable lol?

ETA thanks for finding that.

You're not even likely to notice, IMO

Especially if you are using both eyes. Sometimes I like to shoot with my T-1s front cap still on for the heck of it.
