Anyone tried one of these?

I have a buddy that bought one and it feels pretty sturdy and comfortable, but we haven't mounted a pvs14 to it.  Wondering if anyone has tried it to see how it mounts up.

They are not very durable and will crack if stressed

Get a PT Bravo if you want to go cheap they are DOD rated and seem to just spring back in to shape

Some airsoft / clone stuff is OK for use but stay away from airsoft helmets ect for real world use even if it's just walking your property

Here's a link from a great NV company you can read all about them

Stay away from FMA,Rothco, Emerson helmets except for airsoft use or for your children

I will say the FMA arc rail clones and some other stuff are just as solid as ops core stuff BUT NOT THERE HELMETS

If you get on YouTube you can find videos of guys destroying them

I watched a video of a guy with a PT Bravo that ran over it and it just sprang back to shape watched another take a hammer to it there great bump helmets and can be modified with many aftermarket parts or  for those of us with imagination, proper tools and the know how

Also I tried a bunch of clone Wilcox , ops core and norotos mounts they all sucked wouldn't lock up proper or at all without a lot of filing fitting ect just buy mil spec stuff from a real mfg another huge issue was the quality of the materials they are not made of the same grade steel or aluminum

I will say the Chinese have gotten much better with durable plastics/polymers you will notice excess flash that's about it

I've bought "Faux-Core" helmets in the past. Huge mistake.

The Pro-Tec Bravo will get you started, and I like mine.

But even just an Ops Core bump helmet will see a big jump in terms of comfort and durability.
