Hello,
I recently acquired a pvs 14 with the following specs.
Luminous: 2257
Radiant: 254
Halo: 0.96
EBI: 0.62
Resolution: 72 lp/mm
SNR: 26.5
How are these specs? Thanks

Seem pretty legit ,. depending on the price

Resolution is good, but SNR seems a little average. Like HDS said, it depends on how much it cost you, but as with any tube the best way to tell how good it is, is to use it. And remember, we like pics around here!

It was part of a deal with a base jump and INVG mount for 2750.  Has a small blem. Was it worth it?

If it's still warrantied, I would say yes.

How big is the blem and where is it located in the field of view.

I would say $2750 for a used PVS-14 isnt a screaming deal but if its barely used and came with other accessories you probably did fine.

Those specs are real good and well above average. The perfectionist folks will trifle (I was one long ago) but that is a strong performing tube ! I would buy it.

Dino has slowly convinced me to let go of the idea of having a ultra high performing mutant tube, but I still dream. Just out of curiosity, is it a L3 tube?

The blem is in zone 3 and not very noticeable unless I'm looking for it. It's an ITT tube.

I say its a good score, specs are on the upper side of average.
