| Does anyone know if the IR Patrol with have automatic calibration similar to what is on the FLIR Scout series? Or, is it manual like the Mark II scopes? |
| When weapon mounted, you can control when the picture cuts out. That way it doesn't calobrate as you're attempting a shot. I like the user selectable models that let you set it to manual or automatic as you can choose the style that works best for your situation. Head mounted or hand held, it seems like automatic is more convenient. |

Its not that big of an issue to have to manually calibrate even for a handheld. On weapon scopes its important that they do NOT manually calibrate. Sure you didn't mean NOT AUTOMATICALLY calibrate? Wouldn't want it to lock up on you at an less than opportune time. |
