Any one ever have any problems with these. Mine didn't work right from day 1, the pressure pad is junk It either turned on bright, dim, or not at all and no matter how hard you held it, it would shut off or go dim. Then I removed it and used just the push button on/off, and it would turn off on its own, then I'd have to push button on/off again, then it just would come on at all. Finally sent the glorified, overpriced flashlight back yesterday. There customer service is terrible, no matter what option you choose its a voice mail, email took 3 days to return. Now they quote 4-5 weeks to fix or replace. I should have just spent a little more and got a gen 1 night vision scope on sale for $300-$400.

What kind of temperatures are you trying to use it in?

It's a known issue with green lasers performing poorly in cold weather, that could be the reason why it seems to be crapping out on you. Do some googling on why green lasers perform poorly in winter and you'll understand.

I know, that's why I bought the sub zero model that works at zero degrees, It is not a weather/temperature issue, it's a mechanical issue, I'm having issues since I got it using it in 80 degrees down to 30 degrees.
thanks for replying guys.

Even at 30 degrees the green DPSS lasers have issues. I read the "sub-zero" literature and it sounds like BS to me. Honestly the whole ND3 concept is bullshit - you are better off with a real flashlight or waiting for the week surrounding a full moon and going out unaided.

Put it somewhere warm like by your heaters, stove, whatever and give it a go. Then leave it to cool (how about your freezer) and try it again.

I am not trying to imply you are dense or anything, just seen a lot of guys getting PISSED because their expensive laser toy "Just fucking crapped out for no reason goddamnit" when the environmental conditions are outside of the norms for that piece of equipment.

If the problem is electrical in nature, get a multimeter and check the circuits that way.

Does the ND3 accept surefire style tailcaps? Crap tail-switches can be a problem with hobby-grade gear, a known good switch can help.

It looks like a standard tail cap like on my browning tactical light. So I don't think the surefire would fit. When I get it back I probably sell it or give it to my son for his rifle. I just got a photon 4.6 week half ago, but don't like the digital nv , so I just listed it for sale and ordered my  amrasight wwz NV.
Subzero is a gd concept if it works right , if you use a smaller obj. lens scope at 5-7 power , you can see in woods clear and up to 100yds strong on dark nights. at 40mm you have to adj. power and laser field together to "sync" up together.
