| I have a class 1 IR version of this (have had for a while) and it works as advertised. It is nice for a rifle with a FSB where you might want to not mount the laser except for night ops. The mount sits solid on the FSB and the laser can be disconnected without effect on zero. While I use my rifles with a DBAL more often, this is a nice inexpensive choice for an IR laser. It does keep the laser inline with the bore unlike the offset options. |

I'm not seeing a Class 1 IR version on the LDI site... Is it still available? |

Man, if they could cram a CQBL-1 laser in that configuration....that would be epic.... Yeah, to me the ultimate would be Class 1 IR with a .7 mw and .3 mw setting. Now THAT really would be epic. Hopefully our friends at TNVC can elaborate on the availability of a Class 1 IR version. I'm not seeing it at the LDI website. For anyone interested, here are some great TNVC images of the red laser version. http://tnvc.com/shop/ar2a-laser-w-dual-milspec-1913-rail-for-a-frame-front-sight/

I bought mine used and it is definitely C1 so I know they did that. No idea if Steiner is still doing it, but they'd be crazy not to. For a standard FSB AR, this is a great setup. Edited the original post. They do offer a Class 1 IR version. Need to find one... That is a nice looking truck gun! |
