I thought they all came with this govt property logo on them, or at least this type of mount. I've had these for years but never got around to fixing them.
I run single PVS-14 setups on all my helmets now but was either going to try to sell these to fund another monocular, or trade for one, just not sure what they are even worth. |

The ones from the Gov. do. I would be very leary of selling those. We had 5 sets go missing a few years back( Was a security guard from a private firm that stole them) and we only recovered 2 sets and a flight helmet at a gun show in NH. The FBI are still looking for the rest. There are a lot of "hot" ones out there. EDIT - the chickenwire in the one tube isn't too bad. |

I bought them off of a guy years back for parts, but never got around to fixing. Just wish these things didn't cost a few grand just for the housing since that is the main part that needs fixing. |

It could be fixed. I would probably salvage the tubes and lenses and scrap the rest (just me). The phosphor color of the tubes tells me they are older tubes (Omni III or earlier). I would need to see pics of the tubes from the ocular side to tell you more.
Milspec stuff is hit or miss. Not all of it is stolen but some is. Problem is there is no good way to tell. With the obvious age on those I doubt anyone is out looking for them but you never know. I need to know what tubes it has to give you an accurate used value. As I said I would not fix that housing and just use the parts to build something else. Get me some tube pics and I will tell you more. I see PVS-14 housings all the time with US Gov on the housing and civvy tubes inside. I don't even hide my dog anymore... |

Those are very early Gen 3 milspec tubes. Omni I performance. Not much more advanced then Gen 2. Because of the age and performance of the tubes they are not worth much though yours seem to be working well.
Value to the right buyer is around 800 bucks. But people who don't know what they are buying overpay. Put it on eBay and let them bid on it. The tubes are just to old to be of much value. Maybe 300 bucks each for the tubes alone. I would use the tubes for a cheap spotting scope. Basically you have a nice parts scope. ETA: To maximize the value I would part it out. The lenses and tubes hold the value. The body shell with a broken body tube is not worth much. The good body tube and bridge can be sold though. |
