I got a torch several ears ago and I haven't used it much in a while.  Last weekend I was out with the D760 (torch mounted to it) and when I turned the torch on it seemed to make a big blur of IR light when looking through the scope and I was unable to focus it.  It was basically not working as intended.  It used to send a focus beam down range, but I was unable to even use it at 130 yards.  Any ideas what the issue is?  Yes, I tried using the focus dial on the front of it.

Just a thought, but insure the IR illumination itself is not reflecting off the housing.  This has happened before.  Have you tried looking at the unit detached from the scope?  Thank you.

Its at the cabin, so I'll have to try that next time I am out there.  I don't think that is the case because it didn't give me issues a few years ago.  Any other ideas?

Not sure but to try it out to be positive. If not, we'll get you out an RMA and we'll take a peek to whats ticking or not.
