| Oh man....I got the email, too. To order or not. It might be a good tool for ghost hunting.....if in you did that type of thing. I live on 50 acres. I have 100 yards of open terrain before you get to woods. There's prairie grass and clover in between. Would this detect a man size heat signature in this terrain? |
| Android user as well here. Don't mind at all picking up the iPhone version. Plan on snagging a used/re-manufactured 5 to run on this permanently. iPhone's seem to have longer/more consistent battery life anyways. Does the FLIR unit have its own battery, or does it draw from the phone? I wonder what the battery life is like. |

I'll save you several hundred dollars and you can just get this: The Tile App Worked on a similar project enroute to my Bachelors in App Development, and it rocks. Not Thermal, but way cheaper, and for finding stuff, way better. Now we just need to figure out how to take wildlife and enemy combatants with tiles! |
