Can't seem to find much info.  I'm not thrilled that it's based on the 552 vs a newer XPS but the concept looks interesting.  Eotech with a decent IR laser mounted to the side.  Any thoughts?

for the price, i would go a different way , but thats just me.  i agree it is was for the xps series instead of the 552 it would be more appealing.

If they make a XPS-based EOLAD, I'll probably buy one, maybe two.

I had two Eolads sold one to buy another D2. My thoughts are the Eolad is a great system very rugged and simple to use and you don't need as much rail space for mounting two optics sight/laser. Not every rifle I use NV on is a AR15 or has mounting rails everywhere so the Eolad makes it possible to have a a IR laser and NV sight on a straight weaver/pic rifle base such as a factory Rem 700 rifle. That is the biggest plus to the Eolad system and truth be told I still perfer the D2 with a mini red dot up top (for day time) the D2 is just wicked its my main NV weapon type sight I use anymore. I can wack targets with ease 150 yards away its almost to easy :)
