I picked what I think is a PVS-17 broken, at a gun show.

Is there any way to get parts for these at all?

If I can get it working what would it be worth?

Any info would be great.

Thanks.

I would think you could find parts from a  L3 / Insight dealer. I don't see many of these scopes for sale. Value is tough , as I said you see few sold to base it off of. Yes, anything can be repaired with the proper parts and knowledge.

Without knowing what is wrong I can't help much. What is the nature of the problem ? Does it not power up ? We need more details. Could be a simple fix or need a tube which would be costly. Value ? It is a Gen 3 weapon sight and from what I know it comes in two magnification flavors. 2 to 3K would be my guess and it is just an educated guess.

The value as it sits broken is almost impossible to determine without knowing what is broken or seeing photos of the units condition.

It is actually in complete working condition, but the front magnifier (2.25x) has several broken pieces where it screws in, so it is only held together with 3 good screws. I can take pics when I get home

ETA:

The other piece that houses the tube and electronics looks fine but won't power up.  I assume it must have the first part secure before it will do so.  If not then... all I know on a fresh battery it won't power on.

From what I can see in the photos you may need a body housing. I can't tell if that is a removable ring or molded to the body. If it does not power up the front lens has nothing to do with this. Check for corrosion in the battery housing. This scope has taken a hard knock. This is beyond a backyard mechanic. My advice is to send it to a pro. TNVC or Ed Wilcox would be my recommendation.

I buy stuff like this all the time and fix it for resale but this has damage that really needs someone with skills to look at. Get an estimate to fix or see if someone is interested in the scope as is. At min she will need parts and labor to fix. I don't think you can fix this for under 500 bucks. 500 is the starting point and most likely will be higher. You got a couple issues here and it needs a pro to sort it all out.
