Currently I'm using a PVS14 for hunting / night classes and I'm looking for my next upgrade and I'm not sure which way to go --

Should I move to a COTI or upgrade to a BNVD/PVS15 system?

Thoughts? Ideas? Am I retarded for wanting more than just a 14?

I think it is 100% natural to always be looking for  the upgrade even when we already have a nice setup. Thermal, dual bino, it's all good stuff hard to go wrong. I have 14's,BNVD's, PS32 thermal,NV scopes. I think dollar for dollar two items that really changed the way I approach night duties are thermal and dual tube goggles. Both those systems really seemed to really enhance my gear to a new level.

If not a COTI, BNVD.

Not retarded at all, it's just the disease progressing  I told myself that once I got a decent gen 3 monoc I could call it good, then it was just one more monoc, then it was just one more IR laser, then thermal and that's when shit really hits the fan.  I never would've guessed I would be this close to buying a clip-on thermal.  I truly have no idea what comes after that, spooky thought.

ETA:  I think a COTI would be pretty spectacular, and also I prefer just having one eye seeing NV so the other always stays dark adapted.

Waiting on the CIVL ! Unless someone wants to sell me a PEQ15 which I'd gladly pay $1800 for :)

BNVS with clip on power supply!

I'm actually thinking about selling the 14s to get the BNVS with a COTI

I have been wrestling in my mind between building a new BNVS( I have a extra set of matching filmless tubes already) a COTI, or a new FLIR LS64 myself. I should look at something thermal though as I have lots of I2 night vision gear at this time but having the set of matching tubes its hard not to justify buying another bino housing for them.

My new LS-64 should be on the brown truck for delivery when I get home from work, I'll let you know how it performs as compared to the PS-32...

The funny thing is I knew your LS64 was coming today and I have been couting the days so I can see some user feedback
