I have a mk12 mod 1 clone that I want to mount a PVS-4 to.  Will the Ops Inc 12th produce too much flash to use with a PVS4?  I figured it would and was looking at one of the AAC FH or a vortex FH, but don't want to change things out if it is not needed.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You could always by the flashider for the Ops-Inc 12th that ADCO sells... Ops-Inc A1 Flash Suppressor it is near the bottom of the page!

The PVS-4 is designed to handle muzzle flash. It's a specification in the milspec that requires this. It not only handles the flash, but is designed to come back on in time for you to see the round strike the target.

With a PVS-4 I would not worry about it at all... Unless you mount it on a flamethrower or something :)

The 12th model is a good silencer. Like most good silencers it will not produce much flash.

It is true that OPS made a few flash hider mounts over the years. However the muzzle brake offer a primary wear surface that adds tons of life to your silencer.

Trust me, with a can made of 304 stainless like the 12th model ( great can btw) you want a brake. Not flash hider
