Are you talking about to the helmet or to the 14?

If you wouldn't mind, please explain the added benefit you have found w/ that mount setup.  I have only ever used or owned the standard mil rhino mount and I see lots of guys going to these despite their price tag.

First off the INVG mount I love because when I push the 14 up its not feeling like its two feet above my head. I love that I can push it up from my line of sight or push it to my right out of my line of sight.

The Wilcox mount is 1000000000% better than the standard J arm!!!! It has no flex which I hated with a passion!!!!

What like also is every time I pull my 14 down i don't need any fine adjustment.

Hope this helps..

You can push these things to the side?  I generally have to slightly adjust the position of mine when I wear it each time but I attribute that to slight helmet movement, maybe I need to get the helmet a bit tighter.  I'm just trying to figure out whether or not this would be worth it for me to buy, seems like LOTS of guys use these things.  The price just seems a bit high for me given how infrequently I use NV, but if it's that great of an improvement I may do it. BTW thank you for the prompt feedback.

I switched to the INVG from Rhino also.  It is head and shoulders above in rigidity and stability while moving.  I love the ability to move the goggle to the side or up/out keeping things within the helmet footprint and balanced.  It also allows flexibility to move the goggle from right eye to left eye on the fly which is nice when shooting with the pistol or in unusual body positions with the rifle - although certainly not completely necessary.

I first tried the INVG with the standard Wilcox arm (not the newer one you show with the on/off wire) and had an issue with not being able to move the goggle as close to my eye as I wanted to - particularly with the Wilcox amber lense on the back.  I understand from TNVC that the angle of that arm is different between them and others have had the same problem.    The Norotos dual dovetail mount does work like a champ.  I also have an upgraded Wilcox arm on the way to see which one I like the best.  I do like the way the Wilcox arm pivots 110 degrees with one switch.

Would one of y'all mind posting a pic of a 14 on INVG in front of left eye from the perspective of facing back uprange from down?  I am interested in swapping this for the G24 which hasn't worked out particularly well for my personal ergonomics.

The helmet, sorry. Bout to bite on TNVC's lanyard for the bump helmet, but saw that one looks a little different and was just curious.

I installed the Notoros dual dovetail onto one of my PVS-14s so it would fit better into my Wilcox G-24 that had the Wilcox J-Arm and dovetail. The Notoros is a stouter setup than using the J-Arm.

Not as good as the INVG, but not bad either....

I bought the INVG mount and dual 14 THA Adapter from TNVC  for my OPs Core helmet. Love the setup beats the old Rhino mount by a ton.

I WILL MAKE YOU THE OFFER OF A LIFETIME.....  You send me a PMO for what I paid TNVC for the INVG and the arm, cover shipping and insurance both ways and I will let you play with it for a week to see if you want one for yourself.

How's that???

Here is the same setup with the Norotos dual dovetail instead of the Wilcox arm.  Pardon the vacant expression.  It is normal for me.

INVG also has an extended up position as well as rotated back towards the helmet.  Bowling ball looks happier.

Gentlemen, thanks for the pics, although next time can you get a lady to do the modelling Slug-O?

I tried an INVG at the training class down in Victoria with both a Wilcox arm and a Norotos dual dovetail, and it seemed like it would not go far enough laterally to get in front of my left eye.  It is hard to look through a PVS-14 with one's nose.....must have been operator error.

The G24 does not work well for me so I have been thinking about getting the INVG; maybe I will try it out again the next time I am around folks with one.

ETA: I like the Velcro on the day filter; it seems to work well.

Hey, I used the bowling ball because he was by far prettier than me.    Can't speak for the Wilcox yet (except the standard arm which didn't work at all for me) but the Norotos dual dovetail has a bunch of adjustment laterally to make up for those with a wide face.    I had the same money doubts about the INVG as you but would gladly spend that money again. CHEAP, GOOD, or NOW - I could only pick 2 and Vic was quite happy to enable my behavior by taking my money.  If you get out to east Texas, I'd be glad to have you try it on and see for yourself.  I got an outdoor range that lets us shoot to 10p everynight.

Thanks for the info and invite.  Fortunately, there is a 300y range not too far from my home 20 that is 24-hour so long as one is checked out and shooting suppressed.

I about fainted when the gal at my local surplus + store quoted me a price on just a "standard" mount for a MICH. The bump on my head is why I'm still using my old kevlar!

How many millions is either of those spiffy mounts going for?

My neck has been bashed, twisted and nearly pulled apart too many times for me to use my kevlar boat anchor for more than 30 minutes or so. One of those high-speed rigs looks downright comfy in comparison! Seriously . . . what's the damage gonna' be? (Likely more'n I can pull off, unfortunately!)  Boo!
