are these comparable to the commonly seen 3x magnifiers?
I got one off ebay similar to this.....seems to work OK....but I haven't used the other style. |

I think the F-number may be a little bit lower, but otherwise from what I've seen of pictures through such an afocal lens, yes, they are similar to the others in performance. Regards David
