Need a couple of knobs for the PVS-4, Night Vision Depot does not have any, are there any other good sources?

That is why what you have is tough. PVS-4 parts while not terribly hard to find do present a challenge. Call Ed Wilcox and keep your eye on eBay. Surplus dealers such as Whatacountry may have what you need. No easy solution. You have to man the phone and be diligent keeping your eye on the auction sites. The guys on eBay you see selling new surplus tubes are also worth a try. They are surplus dealers and MANY have spare parts but you will have to speak up and ask them.
A knob is not a big money item and many just won't take the time to list them even though they may have some. Good luck !! |

Been watching ebay and I will give Ed a call- thanks for the tip. Did an NSN search but no easy sources came up.
In the meantime I have the shaft size and will see if i can find something at Mouser.com that will do the job until I can source to OEM parts. Thankfully I am pretty patient with this stuff.
