Anyone know if the newer Crimson Trace LG-417 for the Glock 17, which is
a slimmer design, will give enough clearance when mounted to shoot the
laser past a suppressor (SWR Trident)? Or anyone have a price and
availability on the LGD-417? This would be a great setup.

I am not familiar with the SWR Trident working or not with the Crimson Trace Lasergrips.  I can say that it works with the AAC Tirant, though.

What holster do you use?  I have a Glock 17 and multimount can and I don't know a way to comfotably carry it.

A while back I looked into a holster for my suppressed G22, but then got distracted with other projects and didn't follow through.

The couple of suggestions given to me were:
1) A "race/speed" type holster which retains the handgun by clamping on the triggerguard.  There are several popular manufacturers.
2) A "bandolier" type holster for a T/C contender such as the ones made by Uncle Mike's.

You may also want to ask this question in the suppressors forum.  Please let us know what you research turns up.

Take a look at the Crye Precision GunClip. It's specifically designed to accommodate silencer-equipped pistols.
