About 18 months ago I purchased as ATN 2 Gen NV scope. 6 months later when I got it mounted properly on a rifle I noticed that the cross-hairs were canted. Multiple phone calls with no one answering and more e-mails than I can count would result in sparse communication. Nothing ever made much progress.
E-mails titled "4th request for a reply" etc were par for the course when phone calls and messages would not be answered. I was always polite as I figured getting mean would only make it worse for me. After the 1 year mark one of their rare replies was kind enough to tell me that the scope was no longer under warranty and I would have to pay for repair......OK, I would like it to work...how much...... No replies in 4 months. I am trying to pay them to fix their crap that was defective when I got it and they won't even give me the time of day. Fast forward to last week. I get tired of dealing with ATN and buy a scope from TNVC. Somehow my info doesn't go through online and they contact me ASAP. We talk about my use for the scope and they talk me down 1 level to a cheaper scope that would work better for my needs based on their experience. I spoke with the rep. there for about 15 minutes and he was genuinely interested in the scope for my needs in my budget. Wow, that was cool as hell. So then I get the scope. The M845 is a 2 gen same as the ATN scope but the difference is - no cliche intended - night and day. Words can not describe the difference in clarity and brightness. The lack of "snow" also helps greatly. So I have a worthless scope from ATN who won't even take my money to fix the defective scope they made - and a scope that is 10X better from a company that talked me into a cheaper model - and get this - it works! I can't say enough about TVNC. Their service and product is great. |
| When I bought my PVS I shopped around for a while but still wasn't clear on some concepts. Chip called me at 10 o'clock one night in response to a PM on this site, I believe, "hey, I work for a night vision company I don't mind" were close to his exact words. He spent 45 minutes on the phone with me explaining the ins and outs of all my questions. At the end of the conversation, I decided I would give my business to TNVC. Even though they were a few bucks more, the level of service I got from him was worth an order of magnitude more than any money I would have saved. I have since done more business with TNVC and will do so again in the future. Both Chip and Vic have gone out of their way to take care of me and make me a more informed consumer, and I can't help but reward that with loyalty. |
