thinking of putting a NV monocular on a mount behind a scope that I have mounted on my AR to do some night hog hunting,
or possibly an all in one unit if I can afford one with decent magnification |
| A new PVS 14 is $3,000 plus. The latest ones have a thin film technology not suitable for 7.62 mm ARs. That would be your most versatile setup. A magnified NVO would cost nearly twice the price but could withstand more powerful calibers. The sky is the limit when dealing with night vision––nothing cheap will be much good. |
