| I'm interested in picking up a universal night sight for this upcoming night coyote season. I want to be able to use it in front of a couple of different scopes. I see the PS-22 and the MUNS but I'm kinda looking for something under $5000 :-) Am I dreaming? Do these just exist within reach for the civilian? I'm not looking for mil-grade or anything fancy, just a simple 1st generation universal. |
| Reliable sources have mentioned loss of zero related to the PS-22. Never used one so I can't personally testify. I would not buy a ATN product. Just my personal opinion. Search ATN and read the many posts, then make up your own mind. With a budget of $5000 you have lots of options. I would look into a dedicated scope like a D-760. The PVS-22 which is NOT made by ATN are very hard to come by and sold to LE or Mil only by most. They also are very pricey. I am sure many others will have more options for ya. A PVS-14 with an adapter is another option. With the money you have you can get into a top of the line setup. Deal with someone reputable like TNVC. They stand behind their products. |

Civilians can still purchase a BNS PVS-22, same exact sight at the UNS PVS-22 but with a commercial grade ITT Pinnacle tube. We've had our share of issues with the ps22 to say the least with several LE agencies. Hope this helps.
