Could You Have Stopped This? Vegas Shooting Analysis with Attorneys on Retainer

I have a 3x Afocal magnifier for my GT-14. When I use the magnifier with a Micro Aimpoint, I get a double or triple image (in focus). Without the magnifier everything is fine. Any thoughts as to why this is?
