Hi, just the latest addition to my vintage stuff. This is a Varo model 9903, AKA AN/PAS4. However it's new to me, and I'm just learning about it. What I need to learn about, and hoping I can get some or all of the info here is:
What is the voltage and amps to the tube itself, ie. what batteries and is there a supplier???
What is the voltage and amps to the light, and where can I find a battery pack, even if dead, so I can re-build???
Does anyone have a manual I could purchase/beg/borrow to photocopy????
Any other cool info I should have?

The mount on the scope now is for my FNC1. This is the first NV (IR) used by Canada on the FN, followed by the PVS 502 starlight. In the pic, there is another mount for the M14. Also have the light cable. I've seen pics of the battery pack long ago, but of course now that I need it, can't find anything.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thats awesome!

Wish I could help with info but I don't happen to have any on the PAS-4. You might contact the guys at STANO or ed wilcox for parts or info.

I like the pvs-502 fwiw.

Yes, I will be contacting STANO. I'm getting anxious to find out how this tube works. So as soon as I can determine the power needed, I'll get some batteries made.
I'm also wondering how the light will perform as compared to my Torch.

My priority right now is getting the scope fired up. I can use the other IR flashlights I've already got for light.
