| Just got my MUM and ordered a scope adaptor and torch from Victor. Would I be better off with a large objective scope or does it matter? For now I'll be putting it on my suppessed 45LC H&R thinking of a Luepold 3x9x50 would rather go to a 2x7x32 if objective size is not a problem. new to GOOD NV have had a few gen 1 and a gen 2 ANT but someone wanted it more than I did.How much recoil will the MUM take? thanks in advance for your help. |
I would always go with a larger objective scope if you can. It's good to have all the light gathering advantages you can especially if your using a Gen 2. As for recoil, I know customers tell me they do not have issues with a .308 from their reports, but I recommend nothing higher than a 6.8 for monoculars. Hope this helps! Vic |
