It works great but I unscrewed the adjustment knob out and cant get it back in. I haven't even zeroed it in yet but need help since I don't have instructions.

First question, is how do I screw it back in without ruining the pin inside?

Second question, since these screws are fairly loose and easy to unscrew should I add a small amount of lock tight?

Third question, is how do I sight it in? I see 2 large Allen screws and a smaller one. I'm assuming the 2 larger ones are for elevation and wind, but what is the smaller one for? Is it to lock in the adjustments?

Fourth question, is how far do you sight in your IR laser? I sighted in the MR2 at 200 yards. The tip of my front sight shows a red dot at 200 yards which is what I'm using to zero in my IR laser.

I wont be using the MR2 visible laser with this rifle, just using it to sight in the IWAL-2.

If ya could, post a picture of your laser. I am not sure which screw you mean.

For a field expedient type repair, try the following-

Load the spring and detent into the hole. Use something like a 5/64 hex key or similar to push it back as far as you can. Now use something like the leg from an AR15 hammer spring or similar and insert it into the small hole just behind the hole for the adjustment screw. This will lock the spring and detent rearward while you thread in the adjustment screw.

If you'd care to use a bit of Locktite on the screws, it won't hurt anything.

We've spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out the easiest and quickest sight in method. The best we came up with was a two man system.
Set a target, preferable a reflective one, at a known distance. Prone out, use a bench, sandbags, or something to stabilize the rifle as best you can. Using your naked eye, place your sights on your target. Have your buddy adjust the laser until it's on the target.

It may be necessary to illuminate the target with visible light so you can see it and put your sights on it.'

As for the little, third screw, do not touch it. It's set at the factory and should not be tampered with.

I attached a PDF of the IWAL2 manual if you care to look over it.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Ryan
