I'm sorry if this has already been addressed here, but I don't have time to search at the moment. Does anyone know if there is parts-compatibility within the PVS4 and PVS14 housings? I have a 2nd Gen PVS4, but I'd like the head mountability of the PVS14 body without immediately paying for a 3rd Gen tube.

The PVS-4 tube by itself is huge, almost as big as the whole PVS-14 scope. It has a 25mm photocathode and fiber-optic output screen, as opposed to the 18mm on a PVS-14, it needs much larger lenses and wouldn`t be practical.

There is an option for a much smaller housing for the PVS 4 tube that uses C mount lenses but it is still MUCH larger than a PVS 14.
