Im waiting for form 3 to a dealer so i can't check on it myself and dont want to be a nag, having recently spoken to both ffls involved.i had 2 form 3s submitted the same time from the same dealer.(hk sear, uzi bolt). I was shocked the uzi only took 3 weeks to be approved. Well now its been 4 months and the hk sear has still not been upproved..Any of you FFLs ever have one take that long or longer?I have another form 3 inboud from another dealer that is at the 2 month mark...i figure ill wait for that one to be approved and if the hk hasnt been approved ill start bothering people.
Am i being reasonable?doesnt that seem pretty long for a form 3? |

Thank you.. i didnt think they would do that being tax information and all...
I know this is a waiting game.. i just hate waiting when i suspect there is an issue. It also happens to be the toy i want the most and of highest value. While i love beltfeds... ive always wanted an MP5. something about growing up watching the movies of the late 80s early 90s.. but who doesnt want an MP5 right? |

So i finally called my dealer, he said the atf has my form in their system and they are just processing requests from September 2016... it just doesnt make alot of sence that 2 forms submitted at the same time would have one come in after 3 weeks and the other take over 5 months.
He says he has other form threes that are 5-6 month old waiting for approval. I like and believe my dealer, so i guess i just have to be patient.(more patient) |

I dont like the sound of that....but like i was saying i have another form 3 from a different dealer that is past the 2 month mark. I somehow doubt 2 reputable dealers are just going to burn me or are lieing... sitting on my paperwork for a month or two i would believe.
I guess ill call the atf myself. |

Wel thanks for the time lines.. i dont really know what to do at this point. I was planning to call the atf on Monday just to confirm form myself the the process was started...
My dealer has a seprate ffl for nfa stuff ..so i will have to call again to ask what its called.. its different than his main store. |
