I did my 1st form 1 back in May and it's still pending if by some chance it get denied because of a paper work error. I read some place here I can resubmit it some how.

What has me concerned is when they asked for reciever type I gave manufacturer, caliber and then they asked for name on side of reciever like for instance M4 carbine or 223 cal ect you choose from a drop down list.

They did not have listed what was written on my so on the drop down list I choose none.  Mine had just 223 cal on side but it was not listed  in the manufactures names in the drop down list.  I wish I'd uploaded a pic of the lower but did not think about it.

Do you guys think this might be a problem. They have the manufacturer of lower, serial number, caliber and all other info. My trust is a gun trust from silencer shop and has been used before on suppressors.  What say you

The dropdown lists are simply what people have previously used. It doesn't guarantee it's correct. I can go find you a dozen (probably a hundred) combinations that will result in a Disapproval.

For model, they want what's engraved. If that's not in a dropdown, you should've checked the box and entered your own info.

For caliber, they don't want what's engraved...they want what you're actually building.

EForms is dead for new F1 submissions. If you're Disapproved, you're starting over from the beginning, using the new forms, and providing photos & fingerprints plus the Responsible Person Questionnaire for each RP. No emailing anybody to get your place back in line.

I read some place here that you can resubmit the form though with correction. Is it possible to call atf to make a correction before they look at it

I'll repeat myself. EForms is dead. You cannot resubmit, you cannot email to get a fast approval.

That used to be the case. Even before 41F went info effect, they stopped the process because of the volume of new cans. You could resubmit, but had to start over.

Now, paper forms are the only option, and you have to follow the current rules...which includes the new forms, prints and photos, and RPQs.

I have seen a few instances of examiners being willing to help and make a change, but it's extremely rare.
