Super wild ass not a lawyer uneducated guess - It would be like the Sig brace. If you use it as a handgrip you've just made an AOW by gripping it. If you use it as a mag carrier, its fine.
As an RSO - For god sakes don't put your hand in front of the muzzle if you use this thing. |

Well the device itself is legal.
The issue is whether attaching a Magazine to it is legal. I would say yes since mag is detachable and is NOT intended as a VFG (and probably would not work - you would blow your hand off). As FP said, it would be like intent on the Sig Brace. |

I kind of figure it's legal to put on the magazine, but illegal to use that mag as a vfg. IANAL, so I'm just guessing |

Legal or not, if you're holding the front mag... It's plastic, and it's designed to easily slide off, so it WILL slide off when you don't want it to. I'd expect it to torque off sideways also. Horrible idea! End result won't be as bad as the KSG guy that's suing the company, but I wouldn't want to be the learning lesson for either option. |
