Please cut/paste this format to make it easy to read/keep up with: Item: MG, SBR, SBS, etc Method: F4/Trust or F4/Individual? Purchased: optional Form 3 sent: optional Form 3 approved: optional Form 4 mailed: Check cashed: Pending: should be the same or close to the check cashing date. Approved: Examiner: Date it arrived in the mail: ------------------------------------- Start off with Silencer I just got in. Item: Silencer Method: F4/Individual Purchased: 10/23/15 Form 3 sent: NA Form 3 approved: NA Form 4 mailed: 11/6/15 Check cashed: 11/12/15 Pending: should be the same or close to the check cashing date. Approved: 1/14/16 Examiner: Ashley Ducome (at least that's what it looks like to me) Date it arrived in the mail: 2/9/16 |

| Or if you are unlucky, it gets approved and the form that should have gone to your dealer is lost. That happened to me last summer. It had already been approved for a month by the time I called. I ended up taking a certified copy to my dealer. This is why many regular NFA buyers recommend calling after three months. |

At that time SS was filing the F4 two weeks after the F3, so having it mailed ~10/23 could easily result in a 10/26 cashed date. |
