When filling out my form one-time e-forms when I got to the pay section the system crashed and said it wasn't available at this time;
after about 10 minutes I logged back in and go to the pay section again and goes through this time but now on my credit card account apparently I made two payments of 200 dollars.
Has this happened to anyone else? How can I correct this?
Any help would be appreciated.

The site is screwy today.  It was down earlier, then I was able to get in and do my form, but after signing it showed it went through and also had an error of some kind of NULL?

Mine shows pending/submitted, but I cant look at the form....it shows some kind of Meta sheet.

You may need to call or "ask expert" and see if they can cancel one.  Not sure how the refund would work?

i was going to efile a sbr lower but decided to go the paper route instead.  At least with paper if there is an error it is usually corrected.  With efile, a small fk-up usually means are have to start from square one.  Why roll the dice on efile now, especially with a deadline looming?  All this is with a trust btw.

Everything worked like it was post to, only problem I had was with paying twice somehow.
I called and left a message with whoever handles refunds, and must a message with Ask Experts. Just awaits see what happens

Similar thing happened to me around the same time, I paid, got confirmation email and my card charged, but when I returned to the EForm site, it was at the "pay" stage, not "submit/sign" stage. Now my form is stuck in "draft" unless I pay again apparently.
I emailed the experts at ATF but got no response also.

This has happened to me on several internet purchases.  Both $200 payments are probably showing pending.  I would watch for one of the $200 charges to actually post to your account (debit) and the other to simply disappear from pending a day or so later.

Much like when you see a $1.00 charge pending from gas pumps or the like, which are simply checking to see if the card is active, that charge will never actually post to your account, the amount you pumped does.  Or when you use a card at a restaurant and the pending charge doesn't show the full tipped amount, but when it posts, the full amount is debited.

Don't bother calling your bank until/unless you see both charges post to your account, as financial institutions won't take any sort of action on pending charges, for this very reason.
