[ARCHIVED THREAD] - eforms.notification and timeline question

I will start by saying, this is my first eform. So be gentle.

I submitted 11-9 and received an email with "PENDING RESEARCH". I just got an email with "SUBMITTED/IN PROCESS" and a control number.

Does the clock start now, 11-26, or did it start on 11-9?

Depends which clock you want to talk about.

If you want to know how long it actually takes, it started when it went PR. If you want to compare to others getting forms back, it started when it actually went S/IP.

I'm on ly on my 3rd efile, but I've never got an email with "PENDING RESEARCH" always been submitted/process

It happens when you have to check the box and enter your own info...usually model and/or caliber.
