My eform form 1 was denied for "INCOMPLETE FORM. WE CANNOT ACCEPT PO BOX AS ONLY ADDRESS IN 3B, MUST LIST PHYSICAL STREET ADDRESS IN 3B". My trust is registered to my P.O. Box since I am bouncing around temp house for the time being. Section 3C of the form has a opening for an additional address if using a PO Box but there is no way to fill this out via eform filing from what I have found. I emailed Ted with the correct information but have not heard back yet.

My trust doesn't have an address. So I just used my current address.

How can a trust have an address?

I actually called them and asked, they said put the address that appears on the trust, which I did, and they still denied it. Hopefully Ted reads his emails tomorrow and gets an answer.

The post office has a physical street address to use -- that's how UPS delivers to PO Boxes. I would try that.

But it doesn't really matter what address is used, especially since it's an eform, as long as it's not a PO Box.

I know they state on the website no P.O. Boxes.

Did you tell them it was a P.O. Box?

Yeah, unfortunately this is a user error.

I would see about having your trust amended. Why does it have an address?

Once approved, your stamp will be emailed to you, if you efile, so you not having a permanent address to receive the stamp is irrelevant.

My address is on the declaration of trust, and nowhere else. There have been some at-length discussions on the topic in other threads.

Not an error on paper forms, which ask for a mailing address, not a physical address:

Applicant’s Name and Mailing Address

If I put my physical address on any form, I will never get it.

Remove the address from your trust, and always just use whatever your house address is at the time you mail out the form.
