That's got to be a record. I'm following SS NFA Tracker and looks like you form 4 went through a month ahead of everything they're tracking. I hope yours is a sign for the rest of us. Edit-Just looked at NFA Tracker and sure enough some are getting through in the same time frame. Fingers crossed here myself as it still seems luck of the draw. I'm seeing some that were cashed in December just now getting approved, while another was cashed in May and is already approved. They literally show a 1 month turn around for a F4 SBR Trust. Method: Paper, Trust Purchased: 2nd week of Feb Form 3 sent: ??? Dealer found 1 in stock 1 state away and ordered it Form 3 approved: 2nd week Apr (arrived at dealer next day) Got a photo of it on my rifle 
Form 4 mailed: Apr 15th (+/- a day) Dealer next day cert mailed it and called me when he got the "they got it" part back. Check cashed: April 17th Pending: ??? Havent called, should I?? I dont really feel the need to call and waist someones time to check but its my 1st suppressor (have multiple lowers done). Approved: Examiner: I figure if something was "wrong" with the form/trust i (or my dealer) would have heard something by now. Ive visited it in jail a few times but have yet to shoot it. Dealer said anytime i want to go shoot it to let him know and he will go with me (i already paid up front for it). whats "weird" is i havent really felt like OMG I WANT TO SHOOT IT! till i actually take possession of it. My dealer wants to go shoot it (he mostly does gemtech's) and was really impressed with the quality. He told me every time he gets to shoot the saker he will let me shoot his M82A1 
Also, Do i have to wait till the stamp comes in till i can take possession? |

The "fixed" form went back to the ATF today. It's supposed to get there Friday. I've heard the name Ted Clutter was the guy to get a hold of if you had to resubmit paperwork.. So would it be prudent to send him an email or call him with my control number to make sure they got the forms back? Thanks!! |

No, you shouldn't need to bother him if your examiner already allowed you to make the correction. If the examiner is going to go ahead and take your paperwork and you're not going through the refund process, there isn't a good reason to bother him. I just made a correction and it was approved within 3 days of receipt. |

ATF updated their automated message yesterday to say form 1 and 4's have an expected wait time of six months. I have three cans pending since 3/12, hopefully they'll be released sooner than that! I think there maybe some refocusing onto individual form 4's as I am noticing them at 90 days where Trust form 4's are climbing to 100+ days now :/ |
