Is it a Mk48 bolt? Do you have a part #? If Mk 48, check TM SW360-AK-MMO-010 for the part # (or NSN) and then search in WebFLIS. It should list what the .gov paid FN for one new. The operator's manual should be TM SW360-AK-TRS-010. It may also have bolt part numbers. I'm not locating a PDF of either. If you do, please link them here. |

I do not have the bolt, had an offer to buy one and the only markings on it were the MPF, thanks |

They're not illegal to own, unless it's stolen property. If it was shipped from FN, I'd expect it to have come with a phosphate (parkerized) finish, but having never seen one, I cannot advise. It's possible another contractor (or FN) made them as replacement parts, and they never made it to the finishing process, which could indicate rejection. It's also possible they were used and someone blasted them to hide the wear. Be careful... |
