I just submitted a form 1 for a ps90 and just noticed i listed "Caliber" as the measurement for 5.7x28, instead of MM

who thinks it will get rejected, who thinks it will be accepted without question, and who thinks they'll tell me to fix it?

also, in order to avoid anyone being a winner, any way I can change this before it gets to the examiner?

It will pass. I've had stamps approved where I did the same thing.

Efile or paper?

efile - on paper there is just a little box that says "Caliber or gauge" where I would write 5.7x28mm FN, .300 Blackout, etc

Well...technically 5.7x28 FN and .300 Blackout are not calibers.

You only need to put 5.7 (and then mm) or 300/.300 (and then caliber). The x28 and Blackout just define the cartridge. You don't see anybody putting 5.56x45 down, right? The length or extra description isn't needed. Just like .22 or 22 and caliber should be use for 22LR/short/magnum/etc.

However...I think they'll probably accept it as is.

Well, since it's efile, the astute readers will know that you cannot be told "fix it".

There are no corrections on eFile forms.  If a mistake is made, it's simply rejected and you must resubmit.  Back of the line.

ETA:  Funny that two people voted "Fix it" anyway.   n00bs.  LOL

Use the ask the expert and ask them to disapprove it. Then refile.

I screwed something up yesterday when the eForm 1 went back online. Sent the request yesterday and they disapproved it this morning.

I re-filed and will just wait for the refund to hit in a few weeks.

ETA: apparently I can't link a photo with my phone browser...just imagine a pic of an approved form with "5.7x28" listed as the caliber

I don't think there's anything to be concerned about.

I hope you guys are right

Having to select caliber or mm seems kinda retarded anyway, especially since it isnt even on the paper form.

I have a PS90 SBR (e-form 1) submitted February 12. I selected 5.7x28 (IIRC) and selected "MM" as the units. On the PDF copy it just says "5.7".  I should know any day now whether that will work. Not your exact situation but somewhat close.

Agreed.  When you form is printed off it doesn't even list "mm" or "caliber" on it.

I bet it will be fine.  My first efile I put "300 AAC" and when it came back approved it just said "300"
