Finally got my first form 1 submitted after trying all week, and while filling out my second I realized I screwed up the first. I used my name instead of the trust name under "Licensee Name". I can only assume that's going to be a problem. What do I do now? Besides obviously finishing my second form

Request to cancel it and resubmit it is all you can do now.

You can cancel it and refile.

Use the Ask the Experts tab and provide all your info (serial number, ID number, etc).

Thanks guys. If I cancel it, does it also cancel that payment? Then I pay again?

Yes.

I think I've read the eForm refunds post in 10-14 days.

As info, ATF had this in a bulletin:

“We cannot make changes to a submitted NFA eForm. If you make an error in the name or serial number, you will need to contact the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4500 and request the withdrawal of the form. You will then need to submit a new application. Please ensure that the information is correct upon submission.”

So, you can call...but I've read quite a few members here post they cancelled using Ask the Experts. I believe some also emailed, but not sure if they emailed Gary directly or used the [email protected] address.

I did the same thing back last year.  Cancel and resubmit. I had my refund in about a week.

It stinks, but once you resubmit you will feel much easier about it!

Just went through the same think took 3 weeks to receive a refund and one week for the to return my call. You can email them and that might or might not work but I would call asap to get the ball rolling.
